A few hours ago, NetherRealm Studios Ed Boon shared an image featuring what seems to be the roman numeral Ii. Due to rumors stating that Injustice 2 is currently in the works, many thought that Ed Boon is indeed teasing this championship, only it seems like the prototype could be teasing something different, every bit he afterward said that the number in the image could besides be an xi, which would refer to a new entry of the Mortal Kombat series.
